the zone

The GMAT is essentially a test of focus and efficient allocation of personal resources: all your preparation revolves around being able to perform in those three hours - in the zone

How does one get in the zone?

By mastering its individual components:

Mathematics and Verbal SkillsYou may feel you have comparative quant or verbal strengths / weaknesses, but you must view each question as an individual puzzle with a solution format
Mental RoadmapKnowing your way around the overall structure of the exam enables you to plan your answering strategy. Once you see the end in sight, your confidence increases, and your answer technique is most efficient
Time ManagementYour most important skill is time management, as this most significantly affects your score. Allocating the right amount of time to each question enhances your decision making abilities and stops you losing time on questions with no certain answer.
ConfidenceConfidence is what allows everything to happen for you. Psychologically and physiologically, your performance is directly related to your level of confidence.  And this aspect of the ZONE we take very seriously

Confidence Loop

In the Zone model, each class reinforces the skills you need to ace the test, and prepares you for the exam.

familiarise : learn about the different question types

develop strategy : learn how to answer them

manage time : learn the skill of time management, crucial to aceing the test!

execute : practice the exam! don't leave it til the last minute, get used to the pressure from the get go!

feedback : how did you do, and how can you continue to improve
